Funding with AVGS – What is it?

With the Activation and Placement Voucher (AVGS), which is issued by the Job Centre or the Employment Agency, you can receive full funding for the introduction to a professional activity.

Which means exactly can be used with the AVGS?

All 1:1 coaching sessions, which we even offer throughout Germany, can be funded with the AVGS. AVGS vouchers from other cities in Germany can also be used. Our coaching sessions are accordingly free of charge for you and can shape your career in the long term.

Where can the AVGS be applied for and who can actually get it?

The AVGS is primarily intended for jobseekers who want to build up their professional life. There are a few formal requirements:
Six weeks of unemployment in the last three months
No current placement
Entitlement to social benefits (ALG 1)
Even if you don’t meet all the requirements, you can still try to apply for the AVGS.

How long is a coaching session funded by the AVGS?

Roughly speaking, we assume a time frame of 1 to 8 weeks. The actual duration of the coaching is just as individual as the coaching measure itself. Much depends on personal factors, such as the learning speed or possible previous knowledge, and your specific goals. Depending on your focus, an additional booking of modules in which our coaching is structured is possible.

Where do I have to start

To take advantage of the AVGS offer, you should apply for an AVGS voucher from your personal adviser at the Job Centre or the Employment Agency. With the newly issued AVGS voucher, everything goes quickly: you arrange a free initial meeting and the further plan is discussed in person. We can gladly assist you with the application process ourselves.
